This year is no exception: we are cheerfully telling that we are supporting Protect Our Winters Finland and collaborating with them the whole next year 2020. We are pretty sure that you also hope to have snowy winters also in the future.
Protect Our Winters Finland is a part of international non-profit POW-organisation, bringing together winter-sport, nature lovers, and companies in the battle against climate change. POW is active in 15 countries, including Norway, Sweden, Germany, USA, France, Austria, and Great Britain.
POW Finland is:
- Informing on climate change and the effects on winter sports and games
- Influencing decision-makers and companies
- Organizing campaigns and events
At this very moment, POW Finland runs a campaign to make children’s winter play and winter games a Unesco’s cultural heritage.
