This is a sequel to the post Becoming friends with the Drupal Color module — Part 1. Here we'll check out the advanced (and the coolest) parts of the Color module. If you are not already familiar with Color module, I suggest you take a look at Part 1 since I'm not going to cover the basics in this posts.

We have been working with Addthis 3.x for some time now. Current 2.x version is used on about 10 000 live sites, but it does lack many latest features Addthis.com can offer. Version 2.x also was a dead end when looking at extending the module or doing advanced theming. To fix these issues we started working on 3.x version many months ago, but the work was stalled while we were thinking about different features and ways of using the module. We did a lot of design and basically ended up creating CCK field and workarounds to put the button on more than just nodes. All this work was done on Drupal 6.x. Some time ago I realized that there is an easy way to solve most of the difficult problems we have had: AddThis field.
