Our new training offerings

Some of you might already have noticed that we quietly published our new training offerings a few days ago. Mearra has been doing a lot of private training all year and we have been getting requests for public workshops from companies who want to send only 1-2 people for a workshop. Based on customer feedback we will also start offering public non-technical Drupal workshops!

We are especially excited about our new Designing Drupal Sites and Drupal for Website Owners workshops. These two workshops are perfect match for people who are working with Drupal, but don't really need to know the details about how to build a site themselves.

Designing workshops focuses on how using Drupal efficiently will effect work of graphical designer, concept designer or information architect. We have a lot of experience on working with different creative agencies and have collected our best practices to a full day workshop. Time spent in this workshop will definitely save a lot of effort in future projects!

Drupal for Website Owners is your guide on how to make your project succeed. This workshop focuses on vendor selection, process models, request for proposal process, contracts and other things that are not very Drupal specific. We also cover some Drupal basics that every site owner should definitely know. We have a lot of experience from managing projects for customers and we bring many practical examples of what works and what doesn't to this workshop. This workshop is really a life saver for people with limited previous experience in purchasing web development services!

On technical side of things we now offer publicly much wider variety of workshops that has previously only been available as private training. We can now offer technical curriculums for Drupal developers all the way from zero to ninja.

A full schedule of our workshops for 2010 will be soon available on our site. If you can't find something from our public workshops, contact us – we still also offer private training with custom content.
