DrupalCamp Helsinki is coming

Mearra is a proud sponsor of DrupalCamp Helsinki and we are also responsible for most arrangements to make the camp happen. We have booked the best possible venue in the heart of Helsinki for this event: Old studenthouse better know as "Vanha ylioppilastalo" in Finnish. Over 200 participants are expected for this event making it one of the largest digital media events in Helsinki this spring. Dates for the event are Thursday 27th of May and Friday 28th of May 2010.

For international guests this is the ideal time to visit Finland. Our days are already very long this late in the spring and weather is warm enough for outdoor activities. We will also arrange some extra activities for our international guests before and after the camp to help in making most of your trip to Helsinki.

We will launch brand new DrupalCamp.fi site later today with detailed information and signup for the camp. The site includes detailed information about camp program, speakers, participants, getting to Helsinki, accommodation and more. There is still room for some additional sessions and we are still waiting for confirmation from some speakers. If you are interested in speaking at the camp contact Joonas Kiminki (email: first.last@mearra.com).

For more information on the camp follow Mearra blog, DrupalCampFi on twitter and DrupalCamp.fi web site.
